We went to Oxnard last weekend to celebrate DJ's grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary at a BEAUTIFUL in Oxnard. My plan for the weekend was to go with the flow of the rest of the family and, wait for it... not use my camera so I could just sit back and relax. I was doing great until our last night and I just couldn't stand it anymore, the night was just too amazing. The sun was setting, the waves were huge, and the sand was literally glimmering. I caved in and ran back to the hotel room in the sand (and I do not like to run) and made it back over the sand dunes out of breath and just in the nick of time to see Carter fall face down into the ocean and get soaked. So of course, he was no longer game for photos and walked around pitifully for a few minutes until we had to go back and change.
