Here's the reason (okay, one of the reasons) that I am so behind on my blogging... Introducing High Fever Girl and Pneumonia Boy! This was just after Easter so they are more than recovered now, luckily they always rebound quickly. Unfortunately, shortly after this I came down with a terrible case of pink eye that lasted for a week and eventually led me to urgent care and then to an eye doctor to cure it. And no one else in the house got it! While I am fortunate that there was only one crazy eyed person running around the house, I cannot believe that I was the chosen one. It's been tough around here since the end of January, starting preschool is affecting everyone, especially me.
Here they are feeling better than ever, enjoying a picnic lunch in the fort section of the swingset. I had to come up with many interesting new ideas to keep the kids occupied because my eyes were entirely to painful and frightening looking to go anywhere for awhile. Eventually sunlight & store lighting wasn't so terrible for me & I just became the lady who walks around the grocery store with her sunglasses on. Very Hollywood of me...

Abbie deemed me too sick to watch her babies so Jabbers replaced me as the resident babysitter.
And yet again, even more painting with Carter gone terribly wrong. No, I still haven't learned me lesson. But how can I resist this face?
