This is the only remaining evidence that I did make an effort to make Carter look nice for the party & he was very handsome-you'll see what happened later.

Carter finds a football helmet and heads for the dirt since I won't let him wear it inside the bounce house
Just as the pinata/cake part of the party Carter manages to find some squishy dog poop in the dirt he was playing in. I picked him up & took him inside to wash off. When I set him down I saw that he had actually sat in dog poop so it was now on my sweater and jeans too. I only managed to get a borrowed shirt on Carter before he took off for the bounce house again, no pants & all. Needless to say, we both came home in borrowed clothing and got nice hot baths!
The kids can't wait to dig into the Super Mario Brothers cake
Abbie is so happy that the cake is chocolate- her favorite!
