Sleepyhead Monsters

DJ's schedule changed recently so now he is home most mornings just as the kids are waking up. On this morning, I awoke to find these sweet sight...

I can count the number of times my kids have fallen asleep outside of beds or carseats on my fingers. I could hardly believe that Carter fell asleep standing up after a morning at the park!

Abbie wasn't actually asleep- she just saw a rare opportunity to sneak in some snuggle time with her "bubs"

Abigail has started to outgrow her naptime, usually missing one or two a week. She managed to stay awake and play in her room for about an hour and a half before I found her dressed in her christmas jammies, fast asleep

Funny thing is, all these were taken in the past few days. I guess we are feeling an extra need for sleep these days!

Again, Carter has learned the fine art of disrobing. This one caused me to do a double take before grabbing my camera. I had already dressed him head to toe and then ran back to my room to dress myself and on my way to grab my purse, this is the sight I caught out of the corner of my eye!

More Misc Pics

Up until this night, Abigail had been able to enjoy her "special treat" of a popsicle after dinner without her brother. He finally caught on though and he shrieks his version of the word "popsicle" until he gets one too. Of course, Carter rarely eats anything for dinner so it absolutely is no longer fair but it makes all of us much happier just to give him one too. Plus watching him eat a popsicle is hysterical!

Pump it Up fun

In an effort to get the kids (okay and me) out of the house during stormy weather I took them to Pump it Up. The place does not lend itself to good pics so this is as good as it gets- a rather hysterial to watch game of toss with a beach ball inside of a bounce house.
